We have had lots of confusion and little answers provided by the FAI & DDSL, we will make every effort to explain-
FAI
The FAI released a new platform a few months ago to allow players, coaches, match officials and clubs to manage their clubs administration a little better.
No action is required here as the information gathered on the new DDSL platform can be migrated over to FAI Connect. However if you wish to know more about this click on the link below

DDSL
DDSL released a new platform to register each and every player from every club, parents will need to do this to allow players to be registered to a club and be eligible to play in the coming season 2023/2024. I would ask parents to do this asap, to mention there is a €30 fee to do this, we are in communication with the DDSL about the €30 fee, once we know more we will release the information to our members.
A guide on how to register my child with the DDSL

The link below will give access to the DDSL registration portal

Once your child is registered on the DDSL platform this information can be then migrated over to the FAI Connect system, this will be overseen by the clubs admin team.

Club Zap
This is our (Finglas Celtic’s) platform used by you, the members to pay membership fees, play club lotto and see news feeds about whats going on at the club, including match day fixtures and results. Our annual fees are available for members to start paying fees for the coming season –
https://www.finglascelticfc.com/membership_signup
As mentioned the fees are set out to cover a variety of thing across the club, to mention league fees, utility bills, grounds maintenance, and much much more.
As mentioned we are seeking clarification from the DDSL regarding the €30 fee, at present this is a separate payment from the clubs membership.
If you have any questions in relation to the above please email – fcfcsecretary@gmail.com
We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. The intent from the FAI / DDSL & Finglas Celtic is a huge effort to make grassroots football better for everyone.
